The Marketing Specialist has the experience and passion to develop, manage and ensure implementation of a successful marketing plans across multiple brand platforms for various regions and industries. Assures the execution of high-quality marketing strategies within the defined time frame. Works collaboratively with a wider marketing community that delivers strategic, creative and operational support. The role plans, oversees delivery, measures and improves content led multi-channel marketing campaigns that acquire, retain and engage our customers and grow our events and clientele. This role works collaboratively with various teams across the globe.
Accountabilities:
• Working closely with the show and leadership teams, marketing teams, and operations to develop, manage and analyse marketing plans.
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the marketing & analytics as well as the sales support and operations team as necessary; briefing, developing, overseeing, project managing and owning the delivery of a multi-channel on and offline marketing plan.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support marketing plans
• Set specific marketing goals that align with the overall direction and business goals
• Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products
• Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans
• Identifying, building, and updating personas for each show supported
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree holder
• Must have at least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
• Good communicator and strong presentation skills
• Proven track record in marketing, preferably in the exhibition environment
• A good understanding of the marketing mix
• A strategic thinker and team player
• The creative ability to further develop business opportunities and to launch new initiatives
• The attributes required to secure and optimise strong business relationships/partnerships
• Excellent time management skills, to be able to prioritise a workload of a demanding event
