The Manager of Marketing Operations & Technology supports the strategy and owns the execution of a global demand generation marketing technology stack, operations, and reporting. You will create and manage scalable processes for lead management, data analysis, the utilization of our marketing tech stack, and back-end operations while identifying areas of optimization in our marketing campaigns to maximize ROI.
You will support the Director of Marketing Operations & Technology in bringing the inriver demand generation engine to life. You will be the go-to marketing team member for insights on total pipeline generation performance from the global marketing team. You will also partner with the Digital Marketing & ABM Manager to support hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a collaborative mindset.
Roles / Responsibilities
• Operational Execution:
• Lead the day-to-day utilization of our marketing technology ecosystem, ensuring its effective use across campaigns. Key technologies include Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, 6sense, Inevent, and more.
• Create and update automation rules, form handlers, and processing programs needed to support evergreen marketing campaigns.
• Inbound Lead Management:
• Own the process of managing inbound leads via marketing automation tools and ensuring they are correctly routed to appropriate next steps including SDR assignments, marketing nurture, and more.
• Take a proactive role in ensuring high quality contacts and MQLs receive timely and compelling outreach and marketing touches.
• Manage lead scoring and grading programs, ensuring accuracy and recommending updates based on lead performance over time.
• Database Hygiene
• Manage process of timely imports of new batches of leads into Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy.
• Ongoing data reconciliations and database cleansing (duplicate records, incomplete records, etc.)
• Reporting and Communication:
• Own daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing performance reporting and communication efforts, ensuring relevant stakeholders across teams are informed about campaign metrics and insights (by channel, region, and more).
• Collaborate with the entire marketing team to monitor and share insights on metrics such as pipeline generation, cost of new logo acquisition, campaign ROI, and more.
• Email Execution
• Translate content and strategic inputs from marketing team stakeholder to build email programs using Pardot and Salesforce Engagement studio.
• Maintain email exclusion lists and partner with Digital Marketing Manager to ensure optimal list sends are pulled from our database.
• Generate and analyze email marketing reports; monitor KPIs and report on success.
• Data Integrity:
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of data within marketing systems, enhancing segmentation and personalization efforts.
• Measurement Framework:
• Partner with the Director of Marketing Operations to uplevel the inriver reporting and measurement frameworks to better assess the end-to-end impact of marketing spend from an Account-Based lens.
• Further develop our marketing attribution modeling to provide insights on marketing channel and campaign contributions to closed-won business and pipeline.
• Technical Event Support:
• Provide technical support for external webinars and find ways to optimize the process, capture more sales leads, and drive more engagement.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Contribute to the enhancement of marketing operations, identifying opportunities for automation and process refinement.
• Vendor Management:
• Own the tactical coordination with marketing technology vendors and partners.
Background/Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or a related role.
• Experience using marketing technology platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, and
• Google Analytics. 6sense and other marketing tools are a plus.
• HMTL, CSS coding experience a plus. BI data visualization tool experience a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities to derive insights from data and make informed decisions.
• Meticulous attention to detail for accurate execution and reporting.
• Adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction across teams.
